LA MUERTE DE ARTURO

Esta pieza llevaba en un cajón algo más de tres años. Estaba a la espera de encontrar un montaje que resaltara o, al menos, que no eclipsara su geometría. Y esta semana por fin encontré algo que me gustará.

La pieza está creada con arcilla polimérica y la fornitura es de plata de ley soldada a mano y posteriormente pulida.

This piece had been in a drawer over three years. I was waiting to find an assembly that will highlight or, at least, not overshadow its geometry. And this week I finally found something I like it.

The piece is created with polymer clay and sterling silver. The finding is hand welded and then polished.

Kasimir Malevich, década del 20:

El suprematismo se divide en tres estadios de acuerdo con el número de cuadrado: negro, rojo y blanco; el período negro, el período de color y el período blanco (...). Los tres cuadrados del suprematismo representan la instauración de determinadas concepciones y estructuras del mundo (...) El negro como símbolo de economía, el rojo como signo de la revolución y el blanco como acción en sí misma.

Suprematism could be divided into three stages, in correspondence to its three squares - black, red and white (...) The three squares of Suprematism represent the introduction of certain concepts and structures of the world (...) After a "black square", full of the new potenialities, a "red square" was to give the signal of Revolution, in order to reach "the white square" as pure movement.
