CÍRCULO CROMÁTICO – TINTES / COLOR WHEEL – TINTS.
En entradas anteriores hemos aprendido a obtener un amplio espectro de colores, que va desde los vibrantes tonos del arco iris hasta unos bellísimos neutros usando sólo los tres primarios (amarillo, magenta y cian).
In previous posts we’ve learned how to get a wide range of colours that goes from vibrant colours of the rainbow to the beautiful neutrals, using only the three primaries (yellow, magenta and cyan).
En la de hoy vamos jugar con un nuevo color: el blanco. Vamos a mezclar con él los colores anteriormente obtenidos. Los resultantes serán tonos con un alto grado de luminosidad. Dentro de este grupo encontraremos los delicados tonos pastel que sugieren luz, frescura y naturalidad.
Today we’ll play with a new colour: white. We are going to mix it with the colours previously obtained. The resulting colours will have a high brightness. Within this group we find the delicate pastel colours that suggest light, freshness and naturalness.
En la siguiente imagen vemos lo que llamamos la escala de tintes del círculo cromático.
In the next picture we see the scale of tints.
De manera análoga, añadiremos distintas cantidades de blanco a los tonos obtenido a partir de la mezcla de complementarios. En la imagen podéis observar un ejemplo de estos nuevos colores.
In the same way, we’ll add different amounts of white to the colour obtained from the complementary mixture. In the picture you can see an example of these new colours.
